A small music production house approached us to help them develop their brand identity. The production house had a straightforward brief – the logo had to be simple yet wacky. The production house was involved in the creation of music jingles for several multinational brands like Vodafone’s famous ‘You & I’ tune, and many more.
Being a single man driven organization, we evaluated the elements of music. Frequency and frequency waves are a very important aspect of music, so we used it as one of the elements for the identity. Another important aspect was the bead in the beard which was synonymous with the production house owner himself. We incorporated this aspect into the identity, as it served as a symbol synonymous with the owner.
The logo had a very high recall. Anyone who met the owner could instantly see the logo on his face each time they saw him. High recall of this logo led to higher recall of the music production house, leading to higher inquiries and higher revenues right from the first year.
